Police find blood on sidewalk while investigating stabbing

Victim brought to hospital with multiple wounds

MADISON, Wis. — A 45-year-old man suffered multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds during an incident on the city’s south side Saturday night, police said.

The man, who was dropped off at a local hospital, told police the incident happened on Traceway Drive, according to a news release. Officers responded to the area and found blood on the sidewalk.

The victim gave police some details about the incident, which remains under investigation, the release said.
