Police escort demonstrators from Bascom Hall

UW police officers escorted demonstrators from Bascom Hall after the building closed Thursday night.

According to the UW-Madison Police Department, officers assisted with the Student Labor Action Coalition rally that began on Library Mall.

Several participating individuals went to Bascom Hall as a part of the demonstration. When the building closed, they were given the opportunity to leave the building.

Police said the nine people who chose not to leave were escorted them from the building and released without incident.
