Police arrest man after he allegedly tries to rob two gas stations

MADISON, Wis. — Police have an alleged robber in custody Saturday morning, after they say he tried to rob two gas stations overnight.
The first attempt happened at the Kwik Trip on the 2600 block of Fish Hatchery Road just after 10:30 p.m. An employee working at the time said Anthony Post walked into the store with a BB gun. When the employee pointed out the weapon was in fact a BB gun, Post left the store.
Police say he then headed to the Speedway station just down the street on the 2800 block of Fish Hatchery Road.
After that robbery, Fitchburg Police caught and arrested Post as he tried to get away.
He now faces attempted robbery charges, as police continue their investigation.
