Police arrest Madison man on heroin counts

A Madison man is facing two counts of heroin delivery following an investigation by the Dane County Narcotics Task Force, police said.

Members of the Madison Police Department’s SWAT team aided the task force members in executing a search warrant on a Coho Street residence Thursday.

Police arrested Vernal Green, 23 and seized suspected heroin, more than $1,000 cash, four cellphones and a digital scale.
