Police Arrest ‘High-Risk’ Sex Offender Who Had Been Missing
Madison police said they arrested on Monday a “high-risk” sex offender they had been looking for.
Police said they had been searching for Dale Roder since he removed his monitoring bracelet on Friday afternoon.
Police said Roder was arrested without incident on a probation violation about 2 p.m. Monday. He was located outside of a restaurant on East Washington Avenue, police said.
Police said Roder is considered a “high-risk” sex offender with mental health issues. He was convicted of sexual assault of a child and an unconscious person in 2004, according to police.
