Police: Accused peeping Tom re-arrested only hours after posting bail

A Madison man was arrested Thursday after campus police say he once again illegally entered a University of Wisconsin-Madison dormitory and took illicit photos of women inside a bathroom.

Larry Seidl, 18, entered Ogg Hall on the 600 Block of West Dayton Street at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening and put his cellphone camera under the stall door in the women’s bathroom and attempted to take pictures. Police tracked Seidl to the 700 block of State Street and arrested him on charges of felony bail jumping. Seidl was banned from campus and disallowed from using electronic devices, but made his way onto campus unimpeded regardless.

Seidl was arrested Aug. 30 on a charge of taking illicit pictures in Sellery Hall, directly across the street from Ogg. He posted bail. Then on Aug. 31 police said he groped a woman at the University Bookstore. Seidl was released from police custody Thursday after posting $2250 bail. He is now back in police custody following the incident at Ogg Hall.

Police said more charges may be forthcoming in the release.
