Playboy founder Hugh Hefner dead at 91

BEVERLY HILLS, Cal. — Playboy founder Hugh M. Hefner died Wednesday at age 91, the magazine confirmed in a late-night tweet.

He was the founder of Playboy Magazine and was the star of the reality show “The Girls Next Door.”

Hefner’s cause of death was not immediately known as of Wednesday night.
