A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, according to a release from Madison police.

Officers were called at 11:19 p.m. after the robbery occurred in the 4300 block of Britta Parkway.

The 28-year-old delivery driver told police that as he parked his vehicle, a man and a boy began walking toward him from the building and were talking to him. He said they attempted to pay for the pizza with fake money when the man pulled a gun on him.

The robbers took the pizza and ran behind the building, police said. Officers searched the area but could not find the men.

The man is described as black, in his 20s, with lighter skin, a mustache, ear-length dreadlocks and wearing dark clothing. The boy is described as black, 14, with darker skin, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, skinny and wearing dark clothing and a winter cap.
