Pedestrian hit by vehicle after Journey concert, suffers broken leg
Police expect the pedestrian to be OK

MADISON, Wis. — A concertgoer suffered a broken leg after getting hit by a vehicle near the Alliant Energy Center.
Madison police say the Journey concert let out around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. Many cars were reportedly backed up while leaving the venue.
Police say several cars were stopped on East Olin Avenue off John Nolen Drive.
The cars were stopped in the eastbound lane when a pedestrian walked between the cars, police said. The A 35-year-old man then entered the westbound lane where traffic was moving normally.
The pedestrian was hit in the westbound lane of East Olin Avenue, police said.
No citations were issued.
