PD: Woman finds purse ‘full of money’ in flower pot

Madison police are trying to find the owner of a purse that was found in a flower pot on Sunday morning on the east side.

A Sun Prairie woman found the purse just before noon in the 900 block of Williamson Street, police said.

According to a release, the purse has a significant amount of cash, a debit card and other items in it.

An officer is trying to identify the purse’s owner so it can be returned.
