Paul P. Segal

Madison-Paul P. Segal, MD died June 26, 2012. Paul is survived by his wife, Maria and a sister, Wiktoria Malewska of Stockholm Sweden.

Paul lived a full and challenging life. He was a Colonel in the Polish Army during World War II and won numerous decorations for his meritorious service. He was a professor of Ophthalmology in Poland and worked in ophthalmic research at the UW Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Services. He was the author of six Ophthalmology Textbooks. Paul was an avid reader and traveled extensively in his adopted America. He will be missed by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE, 401 S. Owen Dr. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
