Parkcrest wins All-City Dive team title

Parkcrest Pool on Madison’s west side won the All-City Dive team title Tuesday after finishing in second place the past three years.

Parkcrest finished with 232 points, 22 points ahead of last year’s winner, Ridgewood Pool of Madison.

Seminole Pool of Fitchburg, which hosted this year’s event, came in third with 172 points.

Monona and Middleton Pool tied for fourth with 115 points. However, one of  Monona’s divers left his own mark at this year’s meet.

Henry Carman, who dove in the 15-18 men’s category, set an all-time record by scoring 358.10 at the meet Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gina Jacobson of Monona also won the women’s 15-18 category with a score of 267.70.

The All-City Swim meet begins Thursday at High Point Pool on Madison’s west side.
