Packers, Rodgers donate over $78K to Salvation Army for holiday season

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Packers and Aaron Rodgers helped fill the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle in a big way this holiday season.

The team and Rodgers raised over $78,000 for the Salvation Army through the Packers Give Back Day and autograph signings. Rodgers also pitched in with his own money.

Fans and shoppers at Green Bay Red Kettle locations donated over $15,000 on Give Back Day, which the Packers matched to raise a total of $30,831 on the day.

The team also held three autograph signing events in the Lambeau Field Atrium, with fans donating nearly $24,000. Rodgers matched those donations, bringing the total from the events to $47,666.

Between the signings and Give Back Day, the grand total donated came out to $78,497.
