Packers Road Trip returns July 13-17

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Half a dozen former Green Bay Packers will be hitting the road next week to meet with fans across Wisconsin ahead of football season.

The team announced Thursday its Packers Road Trip is returning for the second year in a row. Between July 13 and July 17, Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy and alumni Tramon Williams, James Starks, Mike Neal, Tony Moll, Jason Spitz and Scott Wells will travel around the state to get fans excited for the upcoming season.

Specific details about individual stops were not provided, but a news release said the road trip will include stops in ten communities across western and central Wisconsin, including La Crosse, Onalaska, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point.

“Stops will include numerous surprise visits to schools, hospitals, businesses, camps, event venues and community centers,” the release said.

The Green and Gold start the preseason in San Francisco on August 12 against the 49ers and the regular season in Minnesota against the Vikings on September 11.
