Packers kicker Mason Crosby receives Make-A-Wish award
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Turns out field goals aren’t the only thing Packers kicker Mason Crosby is good at making.
Crosby received the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award from Make-A-Wish America on Monday. The award is given to celebrities who go above and beyond to fulfill wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish said Crosby has spent time with children who visit the Packers. He has also served as chair of his Make-A-Wish chapter’s gala committee and donated memorabilia. He has also raised over $300,000 through an initiative to give $1,000 to Make-A-Wish for every field goal he puts through the uprights during the season.
Crosby was one of six recipients of the award including the band Twenty One Pilots, the YouTube channel Unspeakable and the Walt Disney Company.
