Packers donate $100,000 to JJ Watt fund as total hits $10 million

MADISON, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers announced Thursday the organization is donating $100,000 to J.J. Watt’s Houston Flood Relief Fund.
The donation comes around the same time Watt’s fund hit the $10 million mark.

The Houston Texans defensive end has raised the goal of his campaign to help victims of Hurricane Harvey to $10 million.
He started raising funds on Sunday with a goal of $200,000 and met that mark within two hours. Watt keeps blowing past and raising his targets.
The Packers organization is also inviting fans to contribute if they are able, either by texting to donate through the American Red Cross or by going online .
