Packers come to Baraboo to raise money for local charity

Green Bay Packer fans don’t need a game to get excited about seeing players and former players wearing Green and Gold.
The Packers tailgate tour stopped in Baraboo Thursday night as part of a five-day trip around the state.
The event supported the nonprofit organization People Helping People, a nonprofit, community-building organization which helps needs within the local community.
One Packer was impressed by the turnout. ” I know I’m a small town kid from Ohio, but this gives them a reason to come out and get excited, especially for a good cause,” said Packer defensive back Micah Hyde.
The fun included hot dogs, beer, and prizes. Players said the event is a great way to meet and thank fans. The Packer tailgate heads to Elkhorn on Friday and Sheboygan on Saturday.
