Overture Center announces 2017/18 show schedule
'RENT,' 'Les Miserables,' among lineup

MADISON, Wis. — The Overture Center for the Arts on Friday night announced its 2017/18 season, which will bring some big names to Madison’s arts scene.
Among the Broadway shows coming to Madison are “RENT,” “Les Miserables,” “Waitress” and “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,” Overture officials said.
Other Broadway performances at the Overture will include “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder,” “An American in Paris” and “On Your Feet!”
The center’s Cabaret series will also return, as will its music series, featuring acts such as all-male a cappella group Straight No Chaser, Grammy-winning Mexican-American band La Santa Cecilia and “RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles.”
Single tickets for Broadway shows will go on sale throughout the season, while tickets for Overture Presents shows will go on sale July 15.
