Orma G. Allison

Orma G. Allison, age 102, of Janesville, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at her home.

She was born in Birchwood on Oct. 9, 1914, the daughter of Nels and Grace (Rossiter) Walhovd. She married Orin W. Allison in Rice Lake on Feb. 9, 1935, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2005. Orma had been employed by the Janesville Country Club, and Lyle’s Deli. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, golfing, playing cards, bowling, bingo, going to the casino, and was an avid Brewers and Packers fan.

She is survived by her 4 children: Kenneth (Pam) Allison, Charles (Phyllis) Allison, Karen (Robert) Hoff and Donald (Lyn) Allison; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 3 step great great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Don and Lyn’s child, Jonathan Allison; siblings: Victor, Millard, Lester, Leslie, Vera, Orville, and Delbert; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Allison.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH with Rev. Rick Hamilton officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Church. Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Lasting Memorials may be made to ECHO,
Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin and First Christian Church.
