Oregon boys soccer – Team of the Month
The Oregon Panthers boys soccer team is the Prep Mania Team of the Month.
Oregon won the WIAA division two state boys soccer championship in Milwaukee in a shootout with Cedarburg.
It was the second straight year the Panthers qualified for the state tournament. Last year, Oregon played in division one and lost its first game in the quarterfinals.
They say that loss helped motivate them in their run to state in 2013.
Senior Spencer Pearson said, “every last drill, every last run that we did, every practice we attended just all came together and we came home with a big piece of hardware.”
