One Dead Following Crash Near Badger Interchange
A one-vehicle crash on Madison’s East Side late Tuesday night has left one person dead, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday on westbound Interstate 39/90 at mile marker 138, which is just south of the Badger Interchange.
According to the State Patrol, a vehicle going westbound hit a guard rail on the right shoulder, then careened across all three lanes of west bound traffic before going into a ditch. The car flipped over and the driver was partially ejected from the vehicle.
All lanes of the interstate were reopened within two hours of the crash, authorities said.
