Olympia M. Christensen

Olympia M. Christensen, age 86, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Sienna Meadows Assisted Living in Oregon, Wis.

She was born and raised in New Mexico. While in New Mexico, Olympia was blessed with two daughters, Lore and Carolyn. Later, she moved to Michigan where her family grew after she became the mother to her three adopted children, Karen, Sidney and Michael. In 1988, Olympia moved to Madison to be near her daughter. She worked at Oakwood West as a nurse’s aide. Later she moved to Pardeeville where she became a foster mother and then adopted her children, Dakota and Dylan.

Olympia is survived by her children, Lore (Don) Dosch, Karen (Edward) Gauthier, Sidney Meyers III, Michael Meyers, Dakota Christensen and Dylan Christensen. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Carolyn Lucero.
