Olin Hacker repeats as state champion
Amy Smith wins D2 girls title

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. — Olin Hacker dominated Saturday’s division one state championship race. He blazed through the Wisconsin Rapids cross country course in a time of 14:59. The runner-up, Verona’s Ryan Nameth, finished in a time of 15:35. Hacker’s effort led Madison West the a team championship, as well. In division three, Darlington put two runners in the top ten and won a team title.
In the girls championship, Amy Davis of Edgewood won the individual championship in a time of 17:46. In Division one, Sun Prairie’s Katie Heitpas took third. In division three, Boscobel’s Keely Foley took third.
