Officials investigate suspicious death in Adams County

TOWN OF ADAMS, Wis. — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in Adams County Monday afternoon.
Adams County Sheriff Sam Wollin said one person was found dead at about 11 a.m. on private property in the 1000 block of County Road M in Adams.
The sheriff said investigators believe the body has been there for awhile.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, and the manner of death wasn’t immediately clear Monday, Wollin said.
“At this time we can’t rule out any cause of death. Through the investigation we will be able to identify the person, and working with the medical examiners office we will be able to hopefully determine the cause of death,” Wollin said.
There is no danger to the public, officials said.
