Noskowiak leaves Iowa State

Former Sun Prairie basketball standout Nick Noskowiak announced Saturday that he is leaving Iowa State. In a statement released through the university, Noskiwiak said “I have decided to step away from Iowa State men’s basketball program. I wish Coach Prohm, my former coaches and teammates the best of luck in the future, and I appreciate the opportunity they gave me to be a part of their team.”

The announcement comes just one day after the Cyclones announced that they suspended Noskowiak indefinitely.

The university suspended Noskowiak when they learned he was facing charges of operating while intoxicated and felony reckless endangerment stemming from a May incident.

Prior to committing to Cyclones, the former Sun Prairie guard committed to Marquette, but was released from his national letter of intent in February.
