No Fire Fatalities In Madison in 2011
The city of Madison avoided any fire fatalities in 2011, but fire officials remain vigilant in order to keep people safe in the future.
It’s the third time in four years the city has avoided any fire-related deaths. The Fire Department will continue to focus on preventing fires caused by careless and negligent cooking in 2012. This remains the No. 1 cause of fires nationwide, as well as in the city of Madison.
