No answers on Rodgers, BUT the Packers signed another QB

GREEN BAY, Wis. — We’re still not sure what’s going on with Aaron Rodgers and his situation with the Packers, but Green Bay keeps adding to its quarterbacks room.
Just days after signing Blake Bortles, the team signed Kurt Benkert, who tweeted a picture of himself signing the contract. ESPN confirmed the addition to the team.
“The best advice I can give anyone is to believe in yourself,” Benkert wrote on Twitter. “I’m so thankful.”

Benkert signed as an undrafted free agent with the Falcons in 2018 and has spent two seasons on their practice squad. He was released by Atlanta in February.
The Packers still have 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love on the roster, while the Packers wait and see what they choose to do with Rodgers, who won MVP last season but has reportedly said he does not want to return to Green Bay.
