New push alert options on our app
If you have the most recent version of the Channel 3000 app, you can now have more control over push alerts.
Users can now subscribe to push alerts for severe weather (based on county), school closings, traffic alerts, and for our daily “What You Need to Know” article sent every weekday morning. We will continue to provide breaking news alerts as well.
Starting Monday we will no longer send “What You Need to Know” push alerts to all push alert subscribers unless you’re subscribed to that alert on your phone.
If you don’t see these new push alert options in your version of the app, make sure you update the app. You’ll find the options in the newest version of the app.
