New FM station in Rock County promises to bring back the ’90s
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A new radio station dedicated to playing music from the ’90s will launch in Rock County on Monday.
The new FM signals, The Beat 92.3 and 98.0 will cover Rock County and the surrounding areas. 98.9 FM will cover Janesville and northern areas, while 92.3 FM will cover Beloit and northern Winnebago County.
Owners of Big Radio say they believe the ’90s were filled with diverse genres of music, making it one of the most creative music decades.
