NCAA tournament: Ohio State slips by Iowa State, 62-59

The Ohio State Buckeyes outlasted the Cyclones of Iowa State Friday night, 62-59 to advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The number 11 seed Buckeyes had just enough to get by the number 6 seeded Cyclones.

Three players scored in double figures for the Buckeyes, led by Kalen Wesson with 21 and Keyshawn Woods with 17. Musa Jallow added 11.

Marial Shayok led all Iona scorers with 23 points.

Ohio State, the number 11 seed, will move on to play Houston, the number three seed. The game is scheduled for Sunday, March 24,
