NASCAR Nationwide Series returns to Wisconsin

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. — The NASCAR Nationwide Series is back in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

The Sargento 200 will race at Road America on Saturday.

Danica Patrick, who has been in the series for three seasons, will be in the race.

Patrick has raced there while competing in the Indy Car series.

“I suppose the tables have turned a little bit coming from so much road racing over the last couple years in Indy Car,” Patrick said.  “Now, I come to a road course, and I’m like, ‘OK, let’s do this.’  It certainly doesn’t mean I’m going to go out there and be fantastic or anything, but I feel a little bit more comfortable.  I’m definitely familiar with road courses, and I’m glad that I’ve been here before.”

Patrick has one pole and one top 10 finish in 13 races.
