Nancy R. Lawrence

Nancy R. Lawrence, 77, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
Nancy was born on February 18, 1939 in Kenosha, daughter of the late Natale and Maria Domenica (Pizzoli) Conti. She married William Lawrence in Kenosha on August 26, 1961. He passed away on October 31, 2015.
Nancy began working as a nurse for Fort Healthcare in 1972 and retired on April 1, 2007 as Director of Inpatient Services. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Council of Catholic Women. She also volunteered with Special Olympics and was a past member of the Optimist Club. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Nancy is survived by her sons, William E. (Rebecca Christiansen) Lawrence and Michael (Mary) Lawrence; daughters, Annette (Steve Cunningham) Lawrence and Ruth (Patrick) Hack; grandchildren, Nathan (Lianna Thompson) Lawrence, Elizabeth (Ryan Kraus) Wampfler, Joshua (JoAnne) Wampfler, Tim (Rachel) Hack, Natalie (John) Kutz, Ashley (Kevin) Utz, Kendell Hack and Michaella Hack; great grandchildren, Lacee and Wesley Kutz, Aurora and Anthony Wampfler, Aubrey Utz and Scarlett and Lily Kraus and her brother, Joseph Conti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church with a Nurses Tribute at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
