Nancy L. Bakke

MADISON-Nancy L. Bakke, age 68, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 31, 1943, in Madison, the daughter of Arner and Geneva Ellestad.

Nancy graduated from East High School. She married Ralph Bakke on Feb. 14, 1973, and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2007. Nancy was a lifelong Madison resident of the Northeast side.

She is survived by her children, Joan (Jeff) Wemple of Huntsville, Ala., John Laske of Brown Deer, and Carman (Shane) Ames of DeForest; four grandchildren; sisters, Betty Harper of Albuquerque, N.M., Virginia (Jerry) Riddiough of Conway, Ark., and Karen (Jim) Meyer of Valley Center, Kan.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; step-father, George Dollard; and brother-in-law, Charles Harper.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI. 53711.
