Museum set to debut new Wis. inventions exhibit
New exhibit to highlight work of Frank Loyd Wright and Les Paul
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Historical Museum is set to debut a new exhibit featuring inventions tied to the state.
“Wisconsin Innovations: From The Iconic to The Unexpected” is set to open Saturday, Sept. 17, at the museum on Madison’s Capitol square.
The exhibit will highlight the work of architect Frank Lloyd Wright and guitarist Les Paul as well as a wild array of inventions with Wisconsin connections, from the typewriter to the surfboard.
The exhibit will run through Dec. 31.
