MPD: House hit with bullets on east side

Madison police are investigating a report of shots fired Thursday morning after a house with people inside was hit with multiple bullets.

This happened on the 3800 block of Sycamore Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Responding officers found multiple shell casings in that area.

They don’t believe anyone was hurt. Police temporarily closed Sycamore Avenue to traffic for a few hours during the initial investigation.
