MPD: 15-year-old robbed at gunpoint while walking home

MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place in Madison on Wednesday afternoon, according to an incident report.
Police were sent to Todd Drive and Post Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. and made contact with the 15-year-old victim.
Officials said the boy told police he got off a bus and began to walk home when someone in a silver SUV with damage and heavily tinted windows robbed him of his backpack and other items.
The report said the suspect aimed a handgun directly at the victim and followed him in the vehicle before speeding off.
The suspect has been described as a younger/teenage boy who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and was wearing a blue camouflage ski mask. No other details were provided.
