A truck sideswiped a motorcycle and fled while traveling eastbound on state Highway 60 in Dodge County Saturday night, leaving the motorcycle operator and a passenger injured, according to police.

Neither of the individuals on the motorcycle were wearing a helmet, police said. The motorcycle driver was taken to Aurora Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The motorcycle passenger was taken by Flight For Life air transport to Aurora Summit Hospital with suspected serious injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a release.

The truck was last seen eastbound on state Highway 60. The description of the truck that was potentially involved was a white or silver truck with side mirrors and marker lights. It’s possibly a Ford Super Duty and believed to be a newer model, according to police.
