Monona Grove Thumps Edgewood

Silver Eagled clinch playoff berth

MIDDLETON — In our Prep Mania Game of the Week, Monona Grove remained undefeated on the season as they dominated Edgewood 27-9. 

Neither team wasted time as the Silver Eagles struck first. Toren Young ran it in to give Monona Grove a 7-0 lead. On the ensuing kickoff, A.J. Anderson answered for the Crusaders. Anderson scored on a kick return to cut the Monona Grove lead to 7-6.

From there though, it was all Silver Eagles. Tyler Blang tossed a touchdown to  Brady Blang in the second quarter to give Monona Grove a 21-6 lead. 

The Silver Eagles went on to win 27-9.
