Missing Michigan woman found safe in Milwaukee

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Justice canceled a Silver Alert for a Michigan woman who had been missing Saturday afternoon.
Carolyn Policha, 79, had last seen around 4 p.m. near U.S. Highway 45 and State Highway 60 in Jackson, officials said. She left her home in Michigan around 7 a.m. and was traveling to Washington County to visit her son.
Officials said early Sunday morning that Policha had been found safe in Milwaukee.
