Missing Brookfield woman found safe, Silver Alert canceled

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Justice has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing 89-year-old woman from Waukesha County.

Beverly Schnier was found safe, according to a release from Wisconsin Department of Justice. She is from Brookfield.

An alert was issued for her early Wednesday morning when she fdid not return home after visiting her husband in the hospital. She left Elmbrook Memorial Hospital around 1:30 a.m. but never made it back to their home, which is located nearby.
