Mineral Point wins Division 4 state title in girls basketball

GREEN BAY, Wis. — For the first time in school history, Mineral Point has won the Division 4 state title in girls basketball.

The team earned the championship by beating Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic, 68-52.

Three of the Pointers scored in double digits, including Jessica Schultz, who scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Sydney Staver was right behind her, scoring 20 points with five rebounds.
