Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting of 17-year-old

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say a teenager has died in a shooting on the city’s northwest side.

Police say 17-year-old Christopher Beamon was shot on Saturday afternoon during an apparent fight. He died at a hospital.

Police continue to investigate a motive and are looking for any suspects.

Beamon would have turned 18 on Sunday.
