Milton man arrested on suspicion of 6th OWI

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Wis. — Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Milton man on suspicion of his sixth operating while intoxicated offense.

Just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a traffic complaint in the area of County Road M by I-90 in Milton Township. The person reporting the incident said a car was driving all over the road, and had gone into a ditch at one point.

When officials arrived, they spoke with Harold Estep, 36, who they say was slurring his words. After conducting field sobriety tests, Estep was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated.

Estep has five prior OWI convictions. A blood sample was taken and the results are pending.

Estep is due in court on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m.
