Milton credit union robbed; $1K reward being offered

A credit union that was robbed Thursday afternoon is offering a $1,000 award for information that leads to an arrest of the robber, Milton police said.

An unknown person entered the Blackhawk Community Credit Union around 2:20 p.m. and passed the teller a note that implied he had a weapon, according to a release. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the man left the area on foot.

No weapon was seen, and no one was injured, officials said.

The man is described as white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has a thin build. He was wearing a black “Bucked Up” sweatshirt with a small lime green deer logo on the front and a large lime green deer logo on the back.

He was also wearing light-colored blue jeans, black Jordan brand high top sneakers, glasses and a black ski mask with lime green accents.
