Miles Thomas Haakenson

Miles Thomas Haakenson, beloved seven week old son of Peter and Kelly (Esser) Haakenson, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison. Miles was born in Dodgeville on November 23, 2012, a beautiful, healthy, red haired, blue eyed boy.

Miles is survived by his parents, Peter and Kelly of Dodgeville; his big brothers, Benjamin and Jacob; grandparents, Thomas and Diane Esser of Cobb and Paul and Donna Haakenson of Evansville; great grandmother, Mildred Esser of Highland; aunts and uncles, Stacy and Dan Prochaska of Dodgeville; Erin and Brian Kammerer of Brodhead and Kristin and Troy Klarkowski of Evansville; cousins, Bryce and Abby Prochaska; Alexis, Gretchen and Landen Kammerer and Annaliese Klarkowski as well as many great aunts and uncles and family friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville with Pastor Steven R. Kottke officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday after 10:00 A.M. A memorial fund will be established in Miles’ memory to benefit Upland Hills Health E.R.
