Midway through outdoor farmers’ market season: How vendors are doing, what’s next
MADISON, Wis. — Saturday mornings in Madison just wouldn’t be the same without the Dane County outdoor farmers’ market, and after a week off, vendors will return to the Square this weekend for the second half of market season.
Vendors are hoping this go-round will provide more stability after a cold and wet, then extremely hot, start.

September is routinely the busiest time of the year for the outdoor market, as football Saturdays draw big crowds.
As usual, this weekend’s Saturday market runs from 6:15 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on the Square.

The weekly Wednesday market goes from 8:30 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on the 200 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
This year, the last day for the outdoor market is November 16, 2019.
