Middleton boys win WPGA Invitational

MADISON, Wis. — On a cloudy, sometimes rainy, day at Maple Bluff Country Club, the Middleton Cardinals were the class of the 23 team field at Monday’s WPGA Invitational. As a team, the Cards shot a meet best 305, 13 strokes better than runner-up Lodi.
Middleton put four golfers in the top 12. The Cardinals were led by Josh Haunty, who shot a third place 74.
Lodi’s Adam Miller was the top local finisher. Miller shot a 73, good for second place. Catholic Memorial’s Dylan Allen won the event with a 72.
