Michigan thumps Wisconsin 3-1
Badgers fall to 1-6 on the road

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Wisconsin Men’s Hockey continued their road struggles Friday night in Ann Arbor as Michigan jumped out to a 3-0 lead before beating the Badgers 3-1. The loss drops the Badgers to 1-6 on the road this season. They’ve lost just twice at home.
Michigan jumped out to a fast start with Tyler Motte and Sam Guptill scoring in the first period. In the second period, the Wolverines blew the game open with a goal from Zach Hyman.
Greg Soleway scored for the Badgers in the second period. That was as close as Wisconsin would get as they fell 3-1.
Michigan and Wisconsin play at Yost Ice Arena Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
