Michael “Mike” Christopher Nagel

Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to Michael Christopher Nagel, 34 years young. Mike died unexpectedly on the afternoon of June 7th, 2017. Michael was born November 5th, 1982 to Kevin and Cheryl Nagel in Madison and raised in Waunakee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 2001 and excelled in hockey earning all-state honors as a senior.

Michael married the love of his life Laura Krueger on October 05, 2013. He enjoyed spending time with Laura along with his nieces and nephews. He was a loyal kind soul willing to help others, no matter when they asked or who they were.

Michael is survived by his wife, Laura Nagel (Krueger); parents, Kevin & Cheryl Nagel; mother-in-law & step-father-in law, Mary & Leon (Butch) Kleinert; father-in-law, Mark Krueger and step-mother-in-law, Deb; maternal grandparents, Gaylord and Elda Deets; brother, Jonathan (Irish) Nagel and sister, Jessica (Kris) Kirkpatrick; brother-in-law, Marcus and sister-in-law, Sara (Trent) Walch; along with several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
