Michael was born on September 3, 1953 in Platteville, the son of Robert “Bob” and Florence (Tindell) Udelhofen. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed refinishing furniture. He loved the outdoors, working in the garden that he and Jody did together, and taking care of his plants. Michael was an outstanding cook and loved to try and make new dishes all the time to share with parents and family. When Michael could he loved spending time with his brothers, whether fishing, golfing or going to the cabin. He had a special companion, Ella, his dog.

Michael is survived by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Florence Udelhofen of Platteville; two brothers, Steve and Rob (Ann) Udelhofen of Platteville; son, Elliot Holzwarth of Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Finely and Aven Halzwarth; nephews and nieces, Justin and Lindsey Udelhofen of Roxbury; Steven and Emily Udelhofen of Sauk City, WI; Shannon Udelhofen of Platteville; Jesse, Joshua and Jamie Udelhofen of Platteville; great-nephews and niece, Austin, Dylan and Sophia Udelhofen; special friend Jody Brecker of Platteville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Anita Udelhofen and Jim and Leona Tindell, sister-in-law, Tine Udelhofen.

Michael was a very special person and wanted to make sure he could help out whoever he could. Michael did this by being an organ donor and helping save three peoples lives and others.

You will be loved and missed xoxo
